Membership Qualifications:
All prospective members must hold a Reiki certificate or be able to demonstrate their ability and knowledge at each degree held.

Monthly Activities

  • Reiki Shares Open To The Public
    Reiki Energy International is moving the times for Reiki Shares open to the general public. Beginning August 2 and continuing every first Thursday of the month thereafter, Reiki Shares will be held from 6 p.m. to 9 p.m. at a new location at 129 S. Phelps, Building #3, Suite 304 in Rockford, Il. There is no cost but donations are welcome. The Shares will be held in an office used for healing treatments located in the complex of buildings on the south side of East State Street. Turn into the Entrance right next to Pauli's used cars. Building 3 is west of the first building.

  • REI Members Only
    Mark your Calendar for Thursday, July 19th. From 6 p.m. until 8:30 p.m., we will be having a share for REI Members to work on each other and stay healthy. These shares will be held in the months of September (20th) and November (15th). REI bi-monthly meetings will be held in August and October on the third Thursday of the month. The location also will be at 129 S. Phelps, Building #3, Suite 304, Rockford. The gathering will begin at 6 p.m. and the meeting begins promptly at 6:30 p.m.

  • Rock Valley College Shares
    Treatments offered to the public also are offered at the Rock Valley College Bell School Campus on Wednesday evenings during the Spring, Summer and Fall semesters. Shares run until August 15th, then begin again September 12th and run for 10 consecutive weeks. Time is 6 p.m. until 9 p.m. Donations are accepted.

The purpose of this organization is to provide leadership and growth for the advancement of Reiki. Reiki Energy International encourages greater awareness of Reiki throughout Northern Illinois and surrounding areas through a not-for-profit structure.

Membership is open to documented Reiki practitioners throughout the world. Reiki Energy International utilizes Reiki Energy for individuals within the community while offering educational and social opportunities to new and existing members.


Reiki Energy International currently operates as a professional and social Reiki organization and has received "Not For Profit" status in June of 2009. Current members include Reiki Masters and Reiki practitioners from all walks of life and many different countries. This core group has established membership guidelines and group goals that include performing community outreach and creating a community awareness of Reiki.

Other REI group activities include:

  1. Holding quarterly organization meetings.
  2. Creating public awareness of the organization.
  3. Holding regular Reiki sessions for members and the general public.
  4. Creating opportunities for social gatherings and networking.
  5. Generating public awareness through trade shows and special events.
  6. Providing Reiki session opportunities for those who can’t afford them.
